The SGZ764/400 scraper conveyor is designed for use in fully mechanized coal mining faces in medium to thick coal seams. It operates in conjunction with a shearer, hydraulic supports, and auxiliary equipment such as the stage loader, crusher, and belt conveyor arranged along the roadway, enabling continuous coal cutting, crushing, and transportation. It is one of the key pieces of equipment for fully mechanized top-coal caving operations.

Conveyor Composition

The SGZ764/400 scraper conveyor mainly consists of the head drive unit, tail drive unit, middle troughs, open troughs, transition troughs, connecting troughs, deflection troughs, lifting troughs, cable trough, scraper chain, adjustment chain, and chain stopper.

Working Principle

The scraper conveyor is a type of continuous conveying equipment that operates using a flexible traction mechanism. It enables continuous mechanized coal conveying, loading, and unloading at the coal mining face. It also helps clear floating coal from the working face and serves as the track for the shearer.

The power transmission route is as follows: the motor transfers power via the motor coupling, brake disc, and reducer to the blind shaft sprocket. This sprocket drives the enclosed scraper chain to circulate and complete the coal conveying and unloading processes.
